Privacy Policy

Last updated: 3 October 2026

This policy explains what information Type (type.freefinance.site) uses and the choices you have. Type has no accounts and never asks for your name, email address or payment details.

Information stored on your device

Type saves your lesson progress, scores, streaks, settings and theme in your browser’s local storage on your device. This data is not sent to us. You can erase it at any time with “Reset all progress” in Settings, or by clearing your browser’s site data. What you type in lessons and tests, and any text you paste into “Your own text”, is processed and kept in your browser and is not transmitted. If you install Type as an app, your browser also keeps a copy of the pages you have visited so they open offline.

Advertising and cookies

Type is free and is supported by advertising from Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google’s Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info. To learn more, see how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Where the law requires it, for example in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, you are asked for consent before cookies are used for personalised ads, and you can change your choice at any time.

Type itself does not use cookies to track you; your progress is kept in local storage as described above.

Hosting

Type is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
